Lost and Lonely Me

I've wandered for a lifetime,
Searching to be free,
Mailigned by the righteousness
Of uncommon destiny.

Even as I stop to ponder,
I wonder what's to be
Of the one without a partner,
The lost and lonely me.

I look for the one who'll lift me up
Or bring me to my knees,
The one whose heart will soothe me
Like a cool summer breeze.

Whose arms will long to hold me
Through all eternity.
The one who'll always want to be
With lost and lonely me.

I would climb the highest mountain,
Cross the biggest sea,
To give you all the love you need
True and endlessly.

If you would give me one good look
I know that you'll agree,
There'll never be another
Lost and lonely me.
